Stars: 3.75/5 Date: 4/27/2024 Time: 6:45pm (no wait) First time here despite only living less than 5 mins away. I was surprised to see there were several open tables as it was prime time dinner time on a Saturday. We took a bit to peruse the menu as it was our first time here. We were hungry so we ordered quite a bit for 2 people. Alaska Roll- $7 Stars: 4/5 Very simple roll but oh so tasty. The avocado was fresh and added a nice creamy flavor. Tokyo Sushi Roll- $14.95 Stars: 4/5 Nice blend of flavors, would order this again. Chicken Karaage appetizer - $8.95 Stars: 3.75/5 Nicely fried and tender pieces of chicken. Huge portion as an appetizer. However, the taste was a bit bland. The accompanying sauce helped, however I wish the sauce provided was spicy mayo. Still good overall. Build Your Own Bento (3 items) - $20.95 Tonkatsu - Nice fry job but a bit bland 3/5 Chicken Katsu - Same critique as the tonkatsu 3/5 Salmon Teriyaki - Flavor and texture are standard 3.5/5 Build Your Own Bento (3 items) - $20.95 + $3 (beef teriyaki) Beef Teriyaki - The slices were too thin for my liking, a tad chewy 3/5 Chicken Teriyaki - Very tender and juicy 4/5 Tempura - Deep fried well, not soggy. Big pieces 4/5 We had plenty of leftovers to take home, which heated up well in the airfryer the next day. Portions were big and prices were very reasonable. Would return again.

Came in here before going to a birthday party - LOL! Walked in and the atmosphere was super cute and elegant. Everything in here is a vibe for anyone who wants to celebrate a cute sushi birthday. The rolls that we got were different from what we usually get at other spots. I want to say that the Crazy Samurai was mine and my husbands FAVORITE. It was fried, but the tuna inside of the roll was still raw. And their ginger was super addicting for my husband, so I don't know how they process their ginger, but he ate all of it on each plate our rolls came on. Garlic Edamame was super good and flavorful. I've tried my edamame in other locations and you can tell that they just throw garlic in there, but you can tell that they sauteed them before serving which we really loved. The Gekikara Roll was my top 2. It tasted like a poke bowl rolled into a sushi - LOL. I honestly like this place on how different they are to other sushi places with their options on their menu. You will see some sushi rolls the same as other locations, but they have more options for sure. Definitely will make another round here. Great service all around as well too.
